A fragment from the central panel of the Liesborn high altarpiece, which showed the Crucifixion. The figure of Christ was once surrounded by angels, some of whom collected his blood in chalices. Part of one wing is visible lower left, and fragments of the angels' figures survive in M√ľnster. The figure of Christ was accompanied by the Virgin and saints, fragments of which survive in the National Gallery Collection.
